FACULTY
Admissions Requirements

Students are required at a minimum to possess a high school diploma or the equivalent, to have a university-level practical knowledge of the English language and to be eighteen years of age. It should be noted that in practice this minimal requirement is more often exceeded than otherwise, and the majority of applicants accepted into the program are health care or fitness professionals and/or holders of university and postgraduate degrees. Licensed health care providers and graduates of other Ayurveda study programs may be eligible to have a portion of the program’s course requirements waived, dependent upon the judgment of the faculty and administration and the content and nature of such previous study.

Non-Discrimination Policy

All applications are considered equally. The New Jersey Institute of Ayurveda does not discriminate in its admissions process or in any other facet of its administration on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation or gender identity, nationality or ethnicity, or disability. Applicants whose first language is other than English must demonstrate a level of English fluency sufficient to accomplish the requirements of the program, and applicants working with a disability or who are physically or otherwise challenged must demonstrate a degree of fitness required for successful completion of the program.
